Excellent. !!!!!!!!

Breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection to provide for all different requirements. The Staff were polite & friendly and very helpful. Location was ideal, right on the beach, and close to Batu Ferringhi, if you wanted to leave the hotel. Also Penang Island and George Town were close by . The rooms were brilliant. We had balcony with a pool/beach/sunset view. The rooms were clean and spacious, with everything you could ask for. The car park was good too.

The nearby Hard Rock Cafe was OK if you wanted a proper meal. Just a little short of options if you wanted something lighter. Not a real criticism.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, comfortable and excellent experience. Staff were excellent.

Swimming Pool, restaurants and room were excellent and met all expectations

They did not have any cafe.... for Barista coffee etc. Or no ice cream available

Really enjoyed our stay and will surely come back again.

The room was cozy and spacious enough. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Good spread of the Buffet breakfast and buffet breakfast was right up to 11am.

Perfect for Kids ! Fun Vibes !

The location is fantastic and the pools and slides are perfect for children. On this stay we had a standard seaview room but the previous week we stayed in a Lagoon room which I'd highly recommend but they seem to be booked out early ( even though most seemed empty as we swam by during our stay, which was frustrating). Anyway we loved the vibe, the balconies and the great room service.

We stayed in March and it was double the price of the previous month so that was slightly frustrating but we still very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.

Excellent choice that is worth the money especially for children

Everything was good especially the pool area. it was a heaven for kids. Room was very spacious too. Loved our stay

The bathroom floor was quite slippery when it is wet. I feel like it is quite dangerous.

这一次体验了两种房型。一间是sea view suite 另一间是roxity kids suite。

kids room 由于是隔间，冷气只有在房外，如果开太大，外面的我们冷，里面温度刚好。如果不开大，里面是闷热的，加上kids room 是向西边，太阳晒进来感觉炎热。下一次会想继续选择sea view suite

Amazing stay for New Year celebration

Excellent customer service and super friendly staffs. We had an amazing time spent at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. The lounge access made it convenient for our family with young kid. Truly enjoyed all the facilities at this kids friendly hotel.

Overall, recommended but u have to bring your own drinks and snacks.

I’ve stayed at 2 different rooms and the room with sea view was incredible. Nice bathtub and comfortable bed. The hotel also convenient and having its own private beach and waterpark.

It’s better to have small bar with drinks and snacks. Some people are lazy to go out for small bites but by having small bar in room will make the holiday even more wonderful. Paying higher price should come with mini bar supplies in room.

Anniversary stay

The rooms and facilities were good.

Poor check in process. 2nd room not ready at 3pm and we had to get 2nd room keycard. Total cost of the stay had 16% tax included which was not clearly mentioned during booking. No one helped with our bags during checkout. Poor quality and less variety of food during breakfast.

Enjoyable and relaxing.

Bus stop at front of hotel made travel easy. Staff friendly Swim up pool bar In house free movies

Lobby music was too loud...would have liked to sit there and enjoy the live music but it was deafening! Difficult to get a driver for a day... asked twice at concierge but only told about taxis

Not much, perhaps more loyalty discounts for frequent visitors like us. Currently it is standard 10% for all visitors at F&B and Gift Shop

Perfect getaway for family

Fantastic facilities especially the pool area

Kids play room should be combined and not separated. Breakfast spread could be better. The room was fine but the bathroom was a bit narrow. Music was not played through out the building like in Hard Rock Desaru

Fantastic stay. Worth every penny.

Friendly staff, the pool was fun, spacious and comfortable room. The facilities in the room was amazing. Helpful staff. Accessible to the beach. Lucky to enjoy live band while check-in, do more please. Fast check in and check out. Overall love everything love the vibes.

- we got a room upgrade, a better spacious room, Truly grateful for the upgrade, just the view not as what we expect. But we still love it.

Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Unfortunately our reservation & request for a double bed was missed & we were forced to settle for 2 single beds as that’s the only available room left poolside. Disappointing & uncomfortable to say the least. We had placed our booking in early May & the request for a double bed was clearly stated & we never received any notification to say it was not available. Also, check in time was delayed by an hour as we waited for the wrong room to be ready for us. Also, the hallways of the hotel smell of mould & needs a good cleaning.
