The room was thoughtfully presented and the layout spacious. The accommodation was easily accessible situated a short distance away from the main building. Staff made every effort to ensure that we felt welcome and had everything that we required.

We were visiting IWM Duxford so the location was perfect. The beds were comfy and the bathroom a decent size. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. good selection of teas and cafetière coffee in the room with a decent size kettle. Breakfast was served in the main building and the eggs Benedict were delicious.
Staff were helpful and friendly, I don't think the small details would put me off staying here again as it is a lovely pub in a great location.
The room was comfortable, although due to the weather very hot and stuffy. (Tip- when it's hot outside close the windows and curtains and keep the hot air out!) Windows and curtains were open and it was roasting! Coffee/tea provided, sugar was in a teabag plate which clearly hadn't been washed in weeks! Only one glass for water. Small details but you notice when they are not right. Toiletries in bathroom were almost empty and you felt the nozzles could do with a wipe as could the bottles. Again small details but you then start to question what else has been skimped on.
Breakfast was very good in terms of the food- but service was a little chaotic. Cups arrived with no saucers- we asked the waitress for sweetener and she (eventually) brought sugar. We then had to ask for a spoon to stir it with...milk came in a small copper saucepan which of course dripped everywhere. (all the jugs were in the wash!)

It had a lovely garden to sit in and relax. Some of the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We asked for a walk-in shower and we were assigned a rather pokey accessibility room. There were no shelves in the shower. The breakfast was patchy, no fruit, and we had to ask for spreads for the toast. It all felt a bit hit and miss, and overall it wasn’t an enjoyable experience.
