Close to the station and enough cafes and places to eat and drink. There's a good supermarket but not much else in the way of shops. Easy enough to get to Bishops Stortford though.
The room was not quite as expected. Between the listing and the reviews, there were suggestions of bathrobes, cereal, bottle of water, a touch of luxury, etc. Received none of that. There was a fridge, which was handy as no milk provided, so I had to buy some. No bathmat. Shower gel was empty and the caddy fell apart. It was perfectly fine but starting to fray at the edges. Those little touches weren't there. It's resting lazily on its laurels.

I love the staff and the owner Paige was really cool. Hoping to stay again soon.
The shower was small. I know it was the smallness on the room. It's also customary to have no Air conditioning, so it was a challenge for me being from Florida. I would choose a different room next time! Paige was awesome and very accommodating! Love her to pieces!

Nice location & room was a good size Nice decor
Comfortable bed though it is 2 single mattresses together!
Room wasnt serviced despite having the 'make up my room' sign outside all day as we were at a wedding
Noisy our first night due to late night roadworks which we thought the hotel should have known about
Offered us a refund & said we could find another hotel Not sure how they expected us to find alternative hotel at midnight!!!
Corridors & carpet in the hall & bedroom a bit grubby!
