Stunning property. Wonderful location
Staff at reception was not engaging. Distracted and not “present”. One had to stand there for a while until getting noticed.

Great on so many levels. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great. the Spa and pool were much bigger and better equiped than we expected. the hotel is beautiful with amazing historic charm.

Fabulous historic hotel- glorious rooms and furniture and decor. Very special.
It’s an old building with some of the issues you always get with old buildings.

Beautiful building, lovely to have a balcony. Amazing view
There was a wedding held every day we weee there and each night the guests were allowed in the front of the hotel making a lot of noise - the first two nights it went on until about 2 am. The last night I had to call down to reception at 4.30 am to ask them to tell the guests to go to bed. This still took quite some time. There was an absence of any staff to prevent such disruption. No manager to be seen.
