The breakfast was decent, and the room was small but comfortable, although you can tell the hotel is a bit old. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is really in front of the train station so if you have an early or a late train the location is perfect.
As for toiletries, it only had the basics, such as wall mounted shower gel, cotton pads, and a nail file, but no shampoo or body lotion. I was expecting more for a 4 star hotel. We have some noisy people staying on the room besides us and the walls are not very well isolated

Breakfast was nice with a good choice
Receptionist was very pleasant and was helpful directing us to the multi storey station carpark as the hotel carpark was full. She told us about the carpark being manned 24/7 and having cameras and that it was only €3 for 24 hours. Our bikes were safe there.
Hotel has good location for the station and the old town centre is a short 10 mins walk away.
Hotel foyer, bar and brasserie were nicely decorated.
Room would be amazing if modernised to the same standard
Room had a strange smell. Shower over bath leaked into floor. Parking had to be reserved but there was no option to reserve it.

Great hotel, freshly refurbished, staff were simply lovely, room super-spacious.
Would be good if you didn’t need to ask the restaurant for milk for your coffee in the room - restaurant staff person was especially rude on one occasion

I liked the staff and the location.
I arrived at 9pm. I was initially given a double room which I asked for. Then when I got into my room I got a call saying there was building work going on outside and could I swap.
I was then given a twin room which although comfortable was not what I wanted.
