Everything! Best 4-star hotel we stayed in during our holiday! The hotel is beautiful, modern yet set in an old building a stones throw from La Petite Venise in Colmar. The reception was so friendly and helpful. The room was delightfully laid out with a small hallway with cupboard and a door off to a WC and another to the bathroom with lots of counter space and a gorgeous sparkling shower with good pressure. This gave a nice separation from the bedroom which was accessed through another glass paneled door. The wooden floors were lovely and the bed was super comfy and massive. The breakfast was pricey at 24 euros each but was fabulous. All you can eat of hot and cold foods and the coffee was great and staff so helpful. We ate out in the pretty, shaded courtyard each morning. One evening we were invited to a free wine tasting in the courtyard which was nice.
The only fly in the ointment was that we were there during the big heatwave and the ac struggled to cool our rooms. It was a shame but they produced a tower fan which helped. I am still giving this hotel a 10 as in every other way it was perfect and I can only assume that the ac works fine at other times of the year. I would check that one thing before I went again.
