The Elvetham Hotel is beautiful situated in a stunning location for sure! In my personal humble opinion, what is there not to likeš¤·āāļø
As I have stated from a previous stay, I cannot fault this amazing historic hotel whatsoever - from the overall ambience of this incredible venue to The Management and their entire team!!
The cuisine alone which is prepared with local ingredients (obviously where possible) where the attention to detail along with being beautifully presented and of course tasting delicious on all counts from breakfast to lunch to their afternoon tea! I have yet to have an evening meal here but with my above praise, I have absolute confidence that their evening menu will be everything I have stated above!
I have never stayed at a hotel venue whereby The Management along with their entire team have gone that extra mile for all their guests including their four legged onesš
I am not one who gives praise lightly or easily but with The Elvetham I have (with deliberate intent) also gone that extra mile here because once again, my entire stay has been exceptional - PERIOD!!!!

An absolutely beautiful Hotel, in a stunning location. We stayed in the stables and the rooms had a lovely nod to its history with horse themed decor. The gardens are immaculate and definitely should be on anyone's to do list while they are there.

Beautiful historic building and grounds
One of the receptionists was very unwelcoming. Also we had upgraded from an Executive King room to a Superior room. It was on the 2nd floor, a small room (would have been the servants quarters back in the day) and with a somewhat small double bed. The room was hot and stuffy although they did eventually supply a fan upon requesting twice.
