The rooms probably deserve a 7. Very small bed. Slightly damp smell.

Breakfast great, staff great, location great, beers great.
The building clearly has some structural issues. I personally am content to view this as 'character', but other half wasn't impressed, particularly with the evidence of mould on the bathroom ceiling (room 5).

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The room was spacious.
The bathroom was appalling. Dodgy shower, black mould, suspicious looking stains on the shower, dangling string from the ceiling, leaking radiator and cracks in the walls
