Beautiful hotel. Booked the stay for my son and his girlfriend to break up their journey from Perthshire to Derbyshire. The hosts were warm friendly and helpful on the phone and when they arrived. They had a lovely stay and breakfast.

I really liked everything about this place. It was beautifully appointed, the grounds and river were wonderful to walk my dog and the food, family and staff were all friendly and welcoming.

The food was very good, we had breakfast twice and dinner once. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The view of the river from our room was especially enjoyable.

Being woken up at 6.30 am with slamming doors and radio news from the kitchen below.Shower blocked and overflowed into the bathroom-was offered a free drink for this which I accepted and then got charged for it on the bill
