Second time staying, this time with my wife and nearly two year old. The food was absolutely superb again and we all polished it away, and the service was as friendly and welcoming as last time. Our room was set up, clean and had a double sized cot in which was great for her night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely in the morning and set us up nicely for our day, with plenty of choice. Would happily stay and eat here again because of how cosy and child-friendly it was. Thank you very much!

Comfortable and pleasant room with a good shower. Dinner was excellent. Great amount of choice. Booked a garden room and really enjoyed having a cup of tea at the table and chairs in the garden.

Conveniently location on route to Scotland.
Some details advertised weren’t delivered or had to be requested. Being charged an extra fee for our dog even though we already booked and paid for a dog-friendly room - and this was confirmed prior. It was also just added to our dinner bill without a word so we had to ask. We also didn’t get the dog-welcome pack which wasn’t a deal breaker for us but is another example of detail they ought to be on top of - especially if they’re going to promote it.
