A nice place for a one-night stop on the way north. It's located in a very small English village, with a single pub that also has guest rooms upstairs.The food in the pub was good, but it's worth booking a table in advance as it gets busy. Breakfast was very good as well, with freshly prepared local dishes cooked by the owners.
The room was very small – there was barely enough space for the bed. On the plus side, the area was quiet and peaceful, with the charm of the English countryside.

Has a great one night stay. Lovely pub and great location. Had a lovely meal in the pub on the evening. room was very clean and comfortable. Had a good nights rest. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast and walk up to the falls in the morning, Highly recommend.
Only reason it wasnt a 10/10 is parking can be tricky as shares car park with the falls so is well utilised.

Spacious & restaurant food
The room - a suite- had comfy sofa and kettle/coffee etc which was great but no small tables to put your drinks on when relaxing.
Local people were allowed to vape in the bar restaurant area and no staff tried to stop them.
