Another lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf! Its located in a beautiful Dales village and is great for trips further afield - Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle are within walking distance, and Hawes, Leyburn and Askrigg are a short drive away.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the cooked breakfasts are great and really set you up for the day. We always have our evening meal at the Wheatsheaf too, they have a varied menu and the food is always tasty and perfectly cooked - and their Sunday roasts are fantastic! The staff are so friendly too and go out of their way to help.

All was good. Lovely friendly welcome, excellent breakfast, good and dog friendly. Nice room with good view and comfy beds. Very nice and useful for us to be able to leave our car in the car park till we returned at the end of walking the Herriot way.
