Lovely comfortable, clean room with a beautiful view. Good quality tea, coffee etc and bathroom supplies. The staff were efficient and obviously busy but took the time to be welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order.

Fantastic old building with heaps of character. Huge breakfast included. Brilliant staff. And enormous dinner portions too, if you choose to eat there in the evening.
Great views from the pub. Loads of walks either directly from the door or a short drive away. Beautiful. I've stayed here 4 years in a row and eaten here many times over the last 20 years
The noisy hot water.pipe! But luckily, seemed to only be when the showers were running, so not a problem when sleeping

Great base for touring the surrounding areas
Breakfast was good
Room access - steep outside staircase, not suitable for elderly or anyone with disability
Lack of servicing and attention to detail overall
