Excellent location, within walking distance from the shopping district and the train station is just 600 m away. Large breakfast room with very friendly foreign staff. Good breakfast, buffet and à la carte menu. Good coffee.
Only one tiny elevator (lift). It did not work when I checked in so they put me in a cargo/staff elevator. The next day, an American lady complained about this as well. On the other hand, expect a charming and old hotel (1897) so there is not much room to install more elevators. I am not a fan of fitted carpets in a hotel room, for hygienic reasons, but I know that the UK and Ireland love them.

Loved the bottom floor and the set down area.
Room was very basic, not clean and had a funny smell. I am
34 weeks pregnant and asked for a room closer to the lift and they couldn’t help me. Also had no one help me with my bags as I arrived
