Staff are really friendly and helpful and do really seem glad to see you. Having the golf course was good for walking and the gym and spa are good. Room was huge and bed comfy.
Some of the common areas are a bit webby! Spa treatments i had a massage seem over priced for what you get.

First two courses of dinner were very good and dining room staff very helpful
Once I'd taken the (hot, synthetic) duvet out of it's cover so I could just use the cover to sleep under, I slept well.
Breakfast buffet was a big disappointment, cold plates, rubber fried eggs and dry black pudding, bacon passable. Probably very good if you get there when freshly put out!
Bedroom carpet felt grubby and the shower door needs cleaning around the base etc. Couldn't help but notice it when sitting on the toilet!
Being a big room, there was lots of space for a luggage rack, instead of having to have the case on the floor.
