Hotel is in a good location. Since our last stay the main entrance had changed to spa entrance. The bistro bar was closed at night time a d we had to walk outside for a booked table at the golf club. Waited 30 mins for a starter and a further hour for main. Left most of food.. very disappointing and still had to pay the bill! Have stayed b4 and been OK. Leisure facilities are good and rooms comfortable.
Having to leave the main building at night to eat.. plus the long wait over an hour and quality of food which we left. Still paid.

Gorgeous location with beautiful views of the course from the outside seating.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and tasty. We also booked massages. The spa staff were very helpful and the massages were great.
Unfortunately the hotel and decor itself really let's it down - it is very dated, the bathroom of our room looked dated and tired, the lighting was poor. Generally the corridors and rooms need updating.

breakfast was awful - everything was cold even though in 'hot' dishes; also if you are going to make the leisure centre available you should provide tokens for lockers as who has pound coins with them routinely;
