Classic old Villa / Castle with good sized rooms and a large decorative garden. Good food and delicious breakfast
Prices for rooms can be very expensive and same room was 100 Euro more the day before so did not stay for 2 nights

Very nice & friendly staff.
Excellent food & service at the restaurant.
Breakfast is very special with a lot af nice italian pastries.
The pool and the jacuzzi could be cleaner.
No possibility for lunch except during weekend, that is a challenge with smaller kids.

Good restaurant ( quirky decor) with pleasant service ( Daniele? I think)
Dark uncomfortable room ( heavily discounted on this site) with only one bedside light and side table. There was room for another one but when we complained the reception staff said this was architect designed. Also “resort” is a misnomer: there is a courtyard pool but very little else, other than a large wedding/ reception venue not in use during our stay. There was only one other hotel guest but it did not occur to the staff to offer a better room.
