Silvia and Andrea are simply the best hosts! It started with Silvia’s prompt, cheery replies to my communications via Booking.com and WhatsApp and I knew that I had chosen the best accommodation for this holiday’s first and last night in Italy. Our room rate included breakfast and round trip airport transfers.
Andrea, picked us up on our arrival at Milan’s Malpensa International Airport and allowed us to check in early after our long haul flight. The room was spotless, recently renovated with a huge bathroom, excellent air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. That afternoon he kindly offered to drive us to Sesto Calende, only 5 minutes drive away, for a stroll along the river which leads to the mouth of Lake Maggiore. When he returned to bring us back to the villa, although there are no restaurants nearby, Andrea served us a generous apperitivo by the poolside followed by spaghetti carbonara for dinner, all for a reasonable charge.
The next morning a sumptuous breakfast was served by Andrea in the pool cabana room with a couple of hot espresso coffees.
That afternoon, we planned to catch a train from Sesto Calende to Stresa on Lake Maggiore to our next accommodation, but Andrea offered to drive us there instead for a reasonable fee, about a 40 minute drive away.
They even agreed to allow us to store a carryon suitcase with them while we travelled around northern Italy to collect on our last night before our return home.
We were very happy staying at the Villa, delicious food and friendly hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be.
The Villa is in a neighbourhood that is about a five minute drive from Sesto Calende. If you are driving this wouldn’t be an issue, but without a car you will need a ride. Fortunately, Andrea was available to help us out in this respect.

This place is simply beautiful and fantastic, in every aspects, comfort, space, level of equipment. Andrea has also been an outstanding host, from the arrival to the departure, he has made everything easy, helping us book a restaurant for dinner and serve a beautiful breakfast in the morning. Great value for money, we will meet again someday :-)
