The facilities, staff and location were all excellent. Lots of little luxuries. Beautiful view. One of the best breakfasts ever. No rush to leave on the last morning.
Breakfast was a bit crowded when the hotel was busy.

I loved this charming old world hotel with close proximity to what I wanted to see. Young man at reception had prepared a thorough response to my request for more info so he could give me all details after I left my luggage in my room. Nice bar/restaurant to relax in and get a bite.
I liked everything about it and thought it was great value.

The bed was very comfortable, the room well laid out, and the receptionist was very helpful in terms of recommending a nearby cafe for a quick lunch! I was also able to access my room early, as it happened to be available, which was much appreciated - the timing of my visit and work meetings meant I would otherwise only have been able to check in after dinner, so the flexibility was really kind.
There is no handrail on the first two steps to the hotel - I should perhaps have noticed this from streetview photos, but it might be worth being aware for people who struggle with steps (like I do!).
