Für Hanoi braucht man max. 2 Tage. Ich empfehle jedoch Ausflüge nach Ninh Binh und Ha Long Bay!

Frühstück war wirklich toll! Die frisch gepressten Säfte und das Kaffee waren ebenfalls super! Die Lage ist sehr zentral!

Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster, aber dafür war das Zimmer umso günstiger! Da man ja eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, war das auch keine große Sache.

I am visiting Ha Noi since 2018 and La Selva is my favorit hotel. For sure will stay there again.

Extremly friendly, poliet and ready to help staff. Very central with easy access to lots of coffee shops, restaurants and a graet place for walks around the lake there. Good breatfast. Coffee, tea and snack available in room for free. Easy place to book a taxi very fast. About 40 minutes from airport.

Made our vacation memorable :D

Hanoi La Selva is simply the best. Right after booking, I was contacted right away by the property manager, Mr. Jackie via WhatsApp to confirm the booking. Initially, our group was set to stay in the Two bedroom suite but due to unfortunate circumstances, two of our group was unable to make the trip. Mr. Jackie was easy to contact and was able to amend our booking at no extra cost. I am really thankful for this. The location is right at the heart of Hoan Kiem, so everything was easily walkable. Our tours were easily able to locate our hotel for pickup. We would also like to commend the rest of the staff such as Joy, Lily, Percy and everyone else for great service and for going above and beyond their duties. Upon arriving, they made sure we were comfortable right away and offered a welcome drink. They have a map to the city sights, stores, restos, and whatever you need. Breakfast is not buffet style, but made-to-order from a menu. You can order as much as you want though. They offered mostly, noodles (beef, vegetable, chicken), breakfast sandwiches, eggs, coffee, and fruit juices. Another example of great service was when they provided takeaway breakfast because our tour pickup was at 5:30 AM. The rooms are exactly what they look like in the pictures. There was a bidet, walk-in shower, bathroom toiletries, and daily refill of bottle water, instant coffee, tea, and crackers. Housekeeping was done daily. We are grateful to Hanoi La Selva for making our stay wonderful and allowing us to extend for another day due to flight cancellations.

Good

Definitely recommend getting a room with a window/balcony. Staff were great and so helpful. Location was great, breakfast good too.

Pictures of the rooms are definitely old photos. Rooms are clean but run down, a few scuffs and scrapes, stains, chipped paint, worn bathroom features, etc. Not a problem though if you're just looking for a bed for the night close to old quarter

Location, service, rooms, all great, would recommend to anyone despite the breakfast (see below!)

The breakfast is awful. I mean you don't need it, because you're surrounded by lovely cafes that will do a great breakfast very cheaply, but my goodness it is bad. Pancakes - microwaved. Croissant - out of a plastic packet. Toast - horribly dry and sweet. Sausage - don't ask - and if you're lucky I won't tell. Ham - even worse, so much worse. Eggs - you'll see them again. Chef could not be bothered to get off his phone to operate the microwave, and any complaints were met with rolling eyes from the waitress. And worst it's incredibly overpriced, a complete ripoff, and that's despite being completely free.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the location is convenient - close to the lake.

The sound isolation was not good for the sounds coming from the corridor. The hotel declared the corridor as a silent zone so of course it also depends on the guests. The window was missing.

Lovely hotel in the old quarter with great staff!

Clean, comfortable and in a great location! The staff are what really make this hotel- friendly, speak great English and provide excellent recommendations on everything. On check in, Tiffany actually sat down with us and talked us through all the great restaurants and activities around the area :) we also exchanged money and did a laundry service and the rates were extremely fair and good on both. the breakfast is excellent too!

Everything is clean but some parts of the hotel (such as our balcony) are looking a bit tired. very happy overall though :)

great stay , great location and great staff.

The property boasts an excellent location close to many attractions. The staff were amazing and could not do more to help you. Breakfast was great value for money. it was delicious and was served from 6.30am which is great if you have activities that start early. The rooms were clean , tidy and decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Good choice for hanoi

The staff are very helpful and sweet! They showed me the popular spots to go to. The location is perfect to walk to the river and temples. Many restaurants nearby. The hotel surprised me with a Christmas cake😍Such a thoughtful and nice gesture!

Superb

This was a lovely clean hotel with really friendly staff, who were always willing to help, offered a smile and would remember me by name. They went out of their way to help such as arranging for breakfast to be taken away when I had an early trip, I didn't even need to ask. Jackie, the manager, was very kind and helpful with organising trips and arranging for change of room when the bed wasn't what I expected.

The minimal window facing a wall or lack of window in one room was not ideal and did affect my enjoyment of the stay. But clearly, this is not something that the staff could have changed. One room was also filled with mosquitoes when I went in, there were maybe 15-20.

Great 4 night stay in Hanoi

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the old quarter, everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, rooms comfortable and very well sound proofed from the bustling streets. Shoutout to the staff, especially hotel manger Jackie, he could not have been more accommodating. He helped us plan our trip outside of Hanoi which was a great help and when we were checking out of the hotel early, he even organised a packed breakfast for us on the bus which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here and booking your tours with Jackie. It was very reassuring to have him as a point of contact during our trip.

Cannot say anything negative, overall great experience and good value for money.

A step above a hostel, don’t expect much.

the staff were all very nice and helpful

The photos are VERY outdated. The property is very weathered, it’s basically a step above a hostel. Bathrooms were falling apart, towels had holes in them and were not close to being white and the water smelled very bad when showering. rooms are dark with very small windows that don’t let in any light.

Excellent service from the whole staff, in a small and central located hotel.

Excellent service from the whole staff. We made our reservation at the last minute, but everything we asked for was organised for us on a short notice from airport transfer to one day tours with a good price and quality. The breakfast has a good variety, should be something for everyone. Nice atmosphere and great service. We had the room with balcony. The room is OK, and the bed is good. The bathroom is not big, but clean and the shower is spacious.

The location in very good and the staff very helpful. Room clean and silent. Jackie (the manager) helped us arranging our journey to Mu Cang Chai via bus, something that we were a bit in trouble with.
