Excellent location, we loved the area. Great for cafes, restaurants and bars. Easy to get around and easy to sightsee.
Our room was really, really hot with a small fan and only able to open the window a small amount. We have stayed in other Meininger Hotels which have been excellent - probably been spoiled as always had really large rooms for our party of 5 and we have never been sweltering before. It’s also on a main road with loads of noise. This is our only gripe however as apart from these things it’s excellent. Great staff!

I like the location. It is so close to public transport and also walking distance with kids to the park with playground and museums.
The breakfast offered a wide selection, it was tasty and well presented.
It was a bite to warm in the room.

The hotel was quite near the historical monuments and museums.
The room was too small, no place to put the luggage, very noisy. The first day of our stay there was no water at all for several hours: we could not take a shower.
The room has never been cleaned , even when I asked for that.
