The room was very large and comfortable and the walk-in shower excellent. The restaurant was fairly good value and the restaurant staff helpful. It's a nice old building with lots of history and in a pretty location. Lots of parking space.
A couple of things let the Inn down and took a bit of the shine off our stay. The main issue was the bar (as opposed to the restaurant). The tables weren't very clean, the first glass they gave us was cracked and the wine glass was absolutely filthy. Then they didn't come to check if our food was OK or come and take our main course plates away when we had finished. We were just left. My partner had to go and get the manager to clear our plates. In addition, the steaks were completely under-done and one had to be sent back.
The other thing that stuck out was the Halloween decor. One of the main things that I will remember is fake spider webs and spiders everywhere. If that's what the Inn wants to be remembered for, fine, but we thought it was a bit over the top and would have preferred to have our main memories being of food, service or comfort.

The Jamaica Inn is in a stunning location in Cornwall. Pictures don't do it justice you need to see it for yourself its just amazing,
The room was very cosy I loved the Halloween decorations in the room it gave the room extra spooky vibes.
We had dinner and breakfast during our stay both meals were lovely 10/10
The main bar has a great selection of drinks and food available.

When we arrived at the inn, we had a amazing welcome from the staff, every staff member was very kind and helpful,
We had a great chat to the lady in the farm shop who gave us ideas of other places to visit in Cornwall.
You also have the bonus of a sweet Black cat outside called Margaret, who loves to say hi.
We also visited the museum during our stay, the theatre video was great, giving you additional information about The Jamaica inn, the museum was great, full of old artefacts and information. 10/10.
Definitely will stay at the Jamaica Inn again 10/10

Brilliant green light from the emergency lighting shining in the room all night. TV mounted so high and off to one side it was unwatchable. Food overpriced chain pub dross, how can fish be this bad so close to the coast?
