- comfort of room. Bed lovely. Room and Bathroom had gorgeous decor and shower was best hotel shower I've used in a long while
- nice to have iron board. Good mini bar if needed. Bath robe and towels were lovely quality
- good help with luggage to room and nice to have a lift too
- temperature of room easy to control and ability to open window for fresh air was nice
- evening turn down service was a lovely quality touch and team who did it were extremely polite
- breakfast service was very efficient and good selection
- Hotel and room felt very cosy and quiet even though close to city centre
- very convenient for Bught park and Loch Ness Marathon start and finish
- lots of plugs and USB points
- was not a warm welcome- was more administrative( ie no ' how was your journey or how are you ) and almost abruptly turned away when asking about check in early - I asked about luggage storage as opposed to being offered
- I know its not common but would have thought the hotel would have tried to have a better gluten free option as I had advised beforehand, but was really only basic foods bought at supermarket for breakfast and they were not set up for that sort of request.
- dinner selection for gluten free / intolerance was poor. I could have gone to city centre but travelling alone the hotel option was preferred
Moreso I felt more of an inconvenience that they were trying to help and exceed expectations.
minor bits about room , but would improve the stay :
- hairdryer provided but no plug in easy reach of mirror
- nowhere easy to sit with a mirror
- clothes of mine had been left dropped on floor behind bed when bed was made up
And overall felt less personal to stay there. I was there for the Marathon and may have thought some effort on conversation on this could have occurred and how they can help to make stay ok ( or for any reason that a guest is there )

The personal attention upon check-in, and showing / explanation of room layout and switches. We were checking out early before breakfast service so therefore we had a packed breakfast supplied and it was perfect for our needs. The information supplied in the room was comprehensive and whilst we didn't take advantage of the hot water bottle or the different pillow options we were taken aback with the level of choices. Fantastic views from the room also.
Walking through a 'eating area' to reach our room. We found it a slight intrusion on those who were eating when we were leaving and returning to our room.

The service of making up your bed, high tea, and warm breakfast servings was brilliant.
The floorwarmer in the bathroom was amazing.
The location was awesome everything was at walking distance
Parking lot was available but everyday you need to go to the paying machine for a 24h ticket at the church. So maybe give some tips where to park the car or which app you can use for parking.
There are no hangers near the door to hang your coat on I use the chair. Further the bathroom was not that big but there is a lack of space to put your toiletries somewhere.
