Beautiful grounds. Comfy bed and good shower. Bar staff excellent.
Dirty wet flannel in room on arrival and receptionist had an underwhelming response.

Peaceful setting, pleasant view (we had room with lake view). Food was good.
Essentially the room was just a premier inn room. Small, too much furniture. Mattress was very firm and pillow very firm, uncomfortablefoe both of us.. We arrived and restaurant was fully booked for both evenings and for one of these, the bar too. No warning was given you should reserve restaurant in advance. To be fair, staff then arranged a booking in the restaurant for both evenings, managed to squeeze us in at an early time.
