Wir waren am Ende unserer fiji Reise für zwei Nächte hier und hatten vorher schon 3 andere Inseln besucht, daher können wir ganz gut vergleichen.
Was uns gefallen hat war das Riff , vor allem am sunrise Beach ist das Riff zum Schnorcheln beeindruckend. Außerdem war das Personal sehr nett und die bure komfortabel. Außerdem haben wir Mantas gesehen und das war uns wichtig
Wenn wir das Essen mit den drei anderen Unterkünften wo wir zuvor waren vergleichen ist die Pauschale hier von fast 170 fjd definitiv zu hoch. Wir waren bspw vorher im Mai Sunset Beach Resort wo die Pauschale auch circa so viel beträgt und da war das Essen Spitzenklasse, auf dem Niveau ist das Essen vom barefoot manta nicht ansatzweise. Wir glauben, dass 80-100 FJD pro Tag angemessen wären für das was man bekommt.
Ich denke wenn einem das Essen nicht so wichtig ist und man stattdessen Wert auf tauchen etc. liegt, ist man hier definitiv richtig. Wenn Essen auch wichtig ist, würde ich mir was anderes suchen

Bures were very comfortable and private with a great out door bathroom. Staff super friendly and great place to relax and chill. Great snorkelling off the beach too

The staff are wonderful and very attentive, especially the staff at Sanasana Restuarant. I had special dietary requirements, and the chefs personally came out to attend to me. I think this is the strongest point of my stay—the staff listened and responded to my needs. They also contact you almost daily on WhatsApp to find out how they can improve your stay.
The complimentary activities are great. I attended the traditional Polynesian dance as well as the fire-dancing. Both were exhilarating performances.
The WiFi is great.
The overall atmosphere of the resort is amazing. I would definitely stay here again.
Things that I feel could improve include the overall cleanliness of the rooms. At face value, the rooms look clean, but one notices the odd handprints (probably made with lotion) on the bathroom walls or the crevices around the taps having stains/dirt. The wash basins are also old and stained. Notably, the drainage in the shower is not ideal; water stagnates quickly and takes long to drain. I have raised this with management.
The gym is good, but the temperature needs to be regulated. It was icy cold! Also could do with a greater selection of kettlebells.
The resort is quite far from the town itself (not that there is much to do in the town; at least, I did not do much).

The staff are very lovely and extremely helpful. They really are the highlight of the resort. Definitely book yourself in to get a beach front massage every day. There are quite a few locals along the beach who have lots of different deals to offer including boat trips. We went on a day trip that included diving for seafood and snorkelling. Highly recommend.
The resort itself is very dated. The pools aren't the greatest or cleanest. The rooms are expensive for what they are, and the level of cleanliness is not there compared to other resorts such as the Fiji Marriot. Unfortunately, the resort food is terrible, so I suggest that you bring a suitcase of snacks or travel into town to eat.
The beach is beautiful, however, it is a public beach. You will be approached by locals to talk about different activities that they offer. This is fine especially if you are looking to do activities but you aren't able to fully relax.
