Loved the authentic feel of the property, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great for couples and groups, island yacht bar is a very cool backdrop for a drink
Food is a little on the basic side but to don’t impact score due to the positives of the property

Such a stunning location, such a beautiful resort. The staff were super helpful, extremely lovely - we loved chatting with them. Our room was fantastic and attended to daily. But it was the food that was the stand-out, so delicious... bravo to your chef and kitchen staff!! Plus, they had a great selection of non-alcoholic beers for non drinkers like myself.

The food
They arranged our pick-up from a different hotel in Nadi, but nobody ever came to collect us. We waited for the shuttle 06:40 am but it simply did not show up. We were going to miss our ferry, and after trying to call them around 20 times with no answer, we had no choice but to take a taxi and pay for another ferry ourselves.
When we finally arrived at the resort, they apologised, but only by saying that the ferry company had been informed by email. It seems there was clearly a communication or organisational failure on their side, but there was no real acknowledgement of what had happened, no attempt to take responsibility, and no gesture to compensate for the inconvenience. It was a very disappointing way to start the stay, especially travelling with children early in the morning.
Unfortunately, the lack of organisation continued after arrival. Nobody really explained how the resort worked, where things were, what activities were available, or how the included meal plan worked. We often had to find things out ourselves. For example, when we asked about the flower crown activity, we were simply told that we had to find the person who organised it. When we eventually found him, he told us that he was no longer doing it.
Overall, for the amount of money charged for the stay, I would have expected a much better organised experience, clearer communication and a more attentive welcome. The resort itself is in a beautiful location, but the service and organisation made the experience much more frustrating than it needed to be.
