Superb
Excellent location in respect to the international airport. Island location but easy transfers from and to the airport. Friendly informal atmosphere and not crowded even at capacity. Plenty of options for activities to amuse yourself on and around the resort.
Nothing really.. check out might be a little more convenient if it was 11am and not 10am

Superb
Rustic feel and well kept. Low numbers of clients relative to space available. Beautiful gardens and lawns surrounding the lodgings but not manicured. Full of activity and a working service centre for boats passing through. A real lay-back atmosphere and a variety of options for lodgings and packages. Excellent staff and service. Not a high activity resort for kids. Close to plenty of other island connections.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. We were an adult family of 4 and it fitted us well. The only thing I would say is that I think the cost of the ferry is a little on the high side

We loved Musket Cove and will be back!
The staff at Musket Cove were amazing, they all went above and beyond and were so friendly. The atmosphere and gardens were so beautiful and relaxing, the walk to our bure was very magical! The food was very very good with a great selection and very fresh and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were very big! The cocktail bure was a lot of fun and it was really interesting meeting boaties and other families having fun. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, it was kept very well clean and well equipt. The bathrooms were immaculately clean. They offer a really great range of activities free of charge (snorkeling, coconut demonstration, basket weaving, kayaks, paddle boards) which we made the most of.
Musket Cove was the most expensive part of our holiday. Some parts of the resort were quite tired for the money being spent (cracked and missing tiles by the pool etc) but the staff, atmosphere and food more than made up for it.

Paradise retreat with lovely food, culture and staff
If you want a relaxing holiday where staff will bring you endless cocktails by the pool this is the place for you. A tranquil part of Fiji where each room feels like its own secluded resort. Staff are so friendly and the activities are abundant. Whether you want to snorkel the reefs, island hop, paddle board along the ocean front or learn how to weave your very own basket, Musket Cove has it all. The food is plentiful and absolutely delicious. We really did not want to leave and return to reality.

The room was 5* but the resort facilities need attention.
Our room was superb (beach front burr). Really spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with all the facilities we needed. Fresh ground coffee with the tea making tray and homemade biscuits every day was a highlight! The air con was efficient and the simple design of the rooms was delightful. The room attendant was charming and obviously good at her job. We had a private veranda with armchairs, sun loungers and a hammock all right outside and overlooking the cove. The staff in the main restaurant were super: both friendly and helpful. We had drinks at the island bar which was nice and we particularly rated the young woman that was running the bar on both occasions we visited. She was a good hostess and offered information about the resort etc as well as making good cocktails! The sand bar where the resort take you for the free snorkelling was fabulous - a huge variety of fish to see in the shallows.
We had an all inclusive food package and the food quality was imo really sub standard for the quality of the venue. At breakfast it seemed as though they had cooked enough for all the guests and then left it on the Bain Marie’s to stew. Soggy, wet cabbage of some sort, next to congealed omelette and poor quality sausages was off putting. There was however an egg station where you could order fresh eggs of your choice. There were two choices of where to eat on the inclusive package - one restaurant and a cafe, both with plastic chairs and tables and it felt cheap, rather than luxurious. The cafe was very disorganised and messy. We had a la carte menu one evening and the food was mediocre. The free snorkelling trips were mostly fully booked due to their not being sufficient snorkels. They were most keen for us to book on the paid trip which seemed to have snorkels available (‘?!). Fortunately, having been previously advised, we had taken our own snorkels and masks and they lent us flippers and added us to the boat. It seemed there were only 15 people in total on each trip.
