Exceptional breakfast with excellent service. Beautifully kept gardens. Spa was an exceptional extra. I had a wonderful massage, worth every penny. Pool was amazing. Sunbeds were extremely comfortable, important for more mature guests. Pool bar service was excellent and Pool snack food was really good,very good portion sizes. The cave bar was a really nice experience also does light food options but we weren't told this on check in, which we should have been. We booked a superior room, very spacious and very close to everything but not literally on top of everything! Excellent buggy service. Nice extra touch with the free entrance to Negomba beach and thermal spa just mins away by car or shuttle. All staff very polite indeed!
Mattress in room was too firm,needs a review for a mid range medium firm perhaps? The evening meal in the restaurant was not good at all, menu needs to have many more traditional food choices on it. The current menu is too far towards fine dining, so it is not appealing to everyone. We ordered steak off the specials but the accompanying sauces were awful, butter separated! They have another vegan only Michelin 1 star restaurant which we couldn't understand why it wasn't a fish restaurant with a full vegan menu option, as this would have provided a 2nd dining option for guests? The restaurant serving traditional dishes on the hill, ie ischian rabbit was only open 1 evening per week not available for us on the dates of our stay. It was open for lunch though so it seemed odd not open for dinner?? Pool toilets need a sanitary bin to be provided. Finally my birthday was not acknowledged until the following morning, which we thought was very bad as we had messaged in advance that it was my birthday and they saw my passport on check in, which was my actual birthday. The following morning I was handed a pastry with 1 candle by our breakfast waiter!!

The grounds are breathtaking. Food & drinks were fantastic - along with the included breakfast, phenomenal.
The pool outdoors as well as the spa facilities were excellent.
Staff was incredibly attentive via WhatsApp, upgraded us to a spectacular room, and helped arrange everything from transport to reservations and more.
Some of the pools were less attended to - the natural thermal pools specifically.
The shuttle was convenient but did run irregular customized schedules vs a reliable fixed schedule. There’s pros and cons for both! It was still a gracious convenience to have a shuttle at all.

It's an exceptional establishment - it's quiet - refined - it's extreme high quality.. Only tried the breakfast reastuarant and the snack bar, but was nice.
They have a shuttle or you can walk, but the beach is a 10m walk roughly.
frankly the only blemish.
