Location and cleanliness
I was a little perturbed, we arrived at the hotel a bit early and were happy to be told our room was ready. We went to the room, unpacked our suitcase and went out for a coffee. When we came back, a member of staff had been in our room! The towels that had been folded on a shelf been transformed into a swan on the bed. I’m not suggesting anything was taken but I don’t believe that a member of staff should be allowed to walk into a guest’s room. We were sure to leave the door hanger on the outside so they wouldn’t enter.

The location was the only thing I liked about the hotel. The check in was a bit impersonal but heyho.
I had booked an executive room. Liked the photos online but did not get anything like it. The room I was allocated was entering but executive. Had a shower which was luke warm and just acceptable. Used the provided towel and it was dirty. Covered in black stains. Returned it to reception and was given a new clean towel. So, please check the towels before use to make sure they are clean.
I commented on the disappointing room the next day and was told that I should have mentioned it the night before. To be honest I just could not be asked as I had unpacked, came back late and was just tired. The breakfast was okay, nothing outstanding but not bad either.
Last photo is that of what I thought I had booked according to the photos on the website of the executive rooms and the others show the reality of my room. Quite different and disappointing!
