Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The food was great. The restaurant was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and did everything they could to ensure we had a great holiday. It's the kind of place I would go back to again.
The only things I didn't like were two things in particular:
1. Some of the security staff and the bag boy staff were always chasing tips, tips, tips, which I found very annoying and irritating. The attitude was like they had a right to be there, which wasn't the case, and it did irk me at times on the holiday. The security/door staff seemed very authoritarian, telling you what to do, when to do it, how to do it, where to stand, and where not to stand. I thought it was a little bit over the top, and it's not the kind of thing that Westerners are used to: being told what to do and when to do it. I think that they need to take a look at that and scrub it out. It's not very attractive.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Dann and would absolutely recommend it. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the amenities were excellent, and I had a fantastic massage at the spa.
The direct beach access was another huge plus and made it so easy to enjoy the water without having to leave the property. Honestly, the hotel had everything we needed, which made our time in Cartagena so much more relaxing and enjoyable.
Our stay at Hotel Dann genuinely made our Cartagena experience 100% better. It was comfortable, convenient, and a great place to come back to after spending the day exploring. We would definitely stay here again!

Property location was great. Staff was really nice and knowledgeable.
Was really uncomfortable with the heat in my room will you ask service to help us twice and they just messed with the controller and that’s the max they did. It was just too hot in the rooms and it made it very uncomfortable.
