I had a very pleasant stay and, overall, the hotel left a very good impression on me. It is a luxurious hotel, very clean, with extremely kind and friendly staff.
The food was far beyond my expectations: absolutely delicious, varied, and of very good quality. The hotel offers facilities that you rarely find elsewhere, and the jacuzzi with its breathtaking view was truly spectacular.
However, there were a few things that disappointed me. First of all, I really did not like the fact that the sauna area requires an additional fee, and that most people there were completely naked, both inside the sauna and in the surrounding areas. For me, this was very uncomfortable and quite shocking, as I was not expecting this in a hotel of this standard.
The water in both the indoor and outdoor pools was also very cold. The rooms are quite small, although the view is beautiful. There was occasionally an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and the shower door was broken and could not close properly, so water ended up all over the bathroom floor.
Another thing I did not particularly like was having to pay extra for both parking and access to the sauna. For a hotel of this level, I would have expected these facilities to be included in the price of the stay.
Overall, the hotel is very beautiful, elegant, and offers many exceptional facilities. However, I believe there are a few aspects that could be improved in order for the experience to truly match the standards of a luxury hotel.

Walking distance to the centre of Opatija, Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices and great coffee. Amazing Views out to the Ocean, Great Bar area with big screen tv, Lots of other amenities but we didn't have enough time to enjoy pool, spa and massages.
There was no lift access to our room, so a flight of stairs to get to the lift was hard with our large suitcases.

Excellent breakfast. Terrace was great too.
No direct elevator access to rooms. Room very small. No Kleenex and no coffee /tea in room. Parking available but spaces very tight.
