Hotel Poincenot is a charming mountain hotel and a wonderful base for exploring the area. Our room and bed were extremely comfortable - exactly what you need after long hikes. As we were on our honeymoon, we were also surprised in our room with a bottle of red wine, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I truly enjoyed staying here and only wished we could have extended our visit.

Perfect spot right in the center of town! Staff was very friendly and helpful- they were able to store our luggage for us while we spent a few days in the mountains. Couldn't have asked for more!

Really lovely hotel, lots of breakfast options and close to restaurants, town but also the main trailheads.
Coffee at breakfast was watery. Walk to town was a bit further than I would’ve liked, especially in the rain and wind.

Good location
We booked way in advance and yet our room was on the third floor (top) floor with no elevator.
Nobody asked about our mobility.
