Brand new suites, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for after a long day hiking. The owner/manager was not on site but was very helpful over whatsapp.
It’s quite expensive compared to other places.

Our stay at Hostería El Puma was fantastic from start to finish.
The room was beautifully designed and decorated, combining comfort, chic, and a thoughtful attention to detail that made it feel both cozy and special. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and effortless, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying our time in the area.
The staff were incredibly flexible and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to assist with anything we needed and made us feel genuinely well taken care of.
One of the highlights of staying here is the location—some the best trails start literally from the back garden, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding nature without even needing a car.
The breakfast was excellent, and we especially loved that it was served every morning right in front of our room. It was a wonderful way to start the day while taking in the peaceful surroundings.
Would choose this hotel again without any hesitation.

Lovely and warm and spacious room. We only tried the on-site restaurant on our final night but highly recommend this hidden gem!

The hotel looks nice - on arrival.
Nice mountains pictures in the wall.

But……!!
When we checked in late afternoon the person at the reception noted immediately a strange odour. Indeed, it turned out the toilets were clogged. As it was too late to be fixed, we were told, we had to wait the next morning for it to be - partially - fixed. We were not offered to change room upon arrival.
The walls between the rooms are very thin and if you are unlucky and someone next door talks loudly past 10.30pm - like it did once out of three nights for us - this is unfortunate.
The breakfast looked good but it seems like they were short of time as the person at the reception in the evening was also on the kitchen staff the next morning. Scramble eggs turned out to be difficult to get - we had an omelet instead two days out of three.
Given this, the high price charged was absolutely not justified.
