The spacious rooms facing the lake

Maybe an option to have a set Bento Box meal and a small Ala Carte Menu?

We stayed on a half-board basis; the breakfast and dinner spreads were diverse and delicious. Our room offered a view of Lake Akan, and the entrance to KAMUY LUMINA was right outside; the sightseeing boats also docked at the nearby pier, making it incredibly convenient. Staying here also gave us access to the open-air hot spring at the sister hotel—an amazing experience. I highly recommend making a visit to the sister hotel's hot spring a top priority during your stay ♨️.
We stayed in a Japanese-style room; the facilities were a bit dated, so it would be better if they were slightly renovated.

Pretty place, care given to the facility. Air was nice. The building was well suited to just spend all the time there.
Placement by the lake is nice.
Check in is easy when prepaid. Gift shop is cute.
The 5 minute every night firework show is enjoyable.
Staff is the best and gracious. They do what they can for the area and are the most helpful.
English isnt easy here but the staff was most accommodating. Helped arrange even an emergency situation with calm and care.
Onsen is heavily harassed. If it says 12pm closed expected to be out by 11pm. With staff reminding you to leave as your washing and have til what is said 12pm closure.
Sorry but it was loud with so many tourists.
We found the day to be empty and night to be even more empty.
Nothing is really open or it's a very limited and rush feel.
The winter is not a good time to visit. Ice slush sleet snow, things say they are open but in fact are not.
Nothing to eat besides hotel accommodations or limited to 6pm dinners. Thankfully convenience stores go all hours...
Store fronts have hours online, but never work out.
It was a bad time to go to a place that said open and then wasn't. For 3 days.
Gave a coupon for a bakery that wasn't open til our last day. Why say open but not?
So much expense for such a little experience. We regret Lake Akan in the winter. Very touristy.
