Mithra Cave Hotel – Cappadocia’s Absolute Hidden Gem!
Where do I even begin?! If I could give Mithra Cave Hotel 100 stars out of 5, I absolutely would! This wasn’t just a hotel stay — it was an unforgettable experience and, without a doubt, one of the biggest highlights of our entire trip to Türkiye!
From the moment my mum and I arrived, we were treated with such genuine warmth, kindness and exceptional hospitality. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of magical.
A very special mention must go to Erol, who was an absolute delight! When we experienced some unexpected banking issues, he personally took us into town to help us sort everything out. He also showed us some of the most spectacular viewpoints in Cappadocia. His generosity, kindness and willingness to go that extra mile were truly remarkable. Erol, you are an absolute treasure!
Alp, Ozkan and the entire team were equally wonderful — professional, attentive, friendly and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel special. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The level of service was simply outstanding!
And then there’s the HOTEL ITSELF… WOW! 😍
Our room was absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful, comfortable, full of character and the perfect place for my mum and me to enjoy our Cappadocia adventure. Every detail made our stay feel incredibly special.
But the real magic? THE VIEWS! 🎈🎈🎈
Imagine sitting in the breakfast room, enjoying a delicious breakfast, while dozens of colourful hot-air balloons gracefully sail past your windows! It honestly felt like something straight out of a fairytale.
The hotel’s magnificent rooftop terraces and viewing platforms offer some of the most extraordinary panoramic views imaginable. Everywhere we turned was another picture-perfect moment. We captured some of the most spectacular photographs of our entire Turkish holiday without even having to leave the hotel!

The concept and location of the hotel were fantastic, and the view was great
The room was mediocre as we had booked the suite, but photos were of the other suite , the room was dirty, didn’t seem to have been cvacuumed or mopped.
The breakfast was very mediocre and was running out at 9am
