Love the location of the hotel! It’s right in the heart of Göreme, and you can easily walk into town to explore the shops and restaurants. I also really liked the traditional cave-style decor. The balloon views are amazing! You can see them flying super close from the hotel balcony, and we also had a beautiful view from our Honeymoon Suite.
There are quite a lot of steps around the hotel. If you’re traveling with elderly parents or anyone with mobility issues, this is definitely something to consider. Also, if you prefer a super polished, spotless, modern hotel vibe, this might not be for you. It’s more rustic and natural, you really feel like you’re staying inside a cave, which is part of the charm and the whole Cappadocia experience. We personally enjoyed the atmosphere, but it’s good to know what to expect before booking.

Room was spacious, staff was attentive and accommodating, restaurant was superb. The view of the balloons taking off in the morning was excellent.
Some of the room photos in the listing were for other rooms, but ours was on the lowest floor. Still spacious and comfortable, but outdoor seating area wasn't as nice as some of the photos. Not a problem or a reason not to book, just a reminder that each room is unique, so you won't necessarily get exactly the one you might be expecting. Again a very minor criticism.

The hotel looked great as did the room initially. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent. There were great views from the terraces.
The bed situation was horrible. To get to bed on side with wall meant walking down a step, then another step and practically falling into the bed. Very difficult for 2 people. There were steps to get from one location to another within the room. Had trouble getting hot water. Check-in person said he would get us information about special breakfast and dinner - we never heard anything.
