We absolutely loved our stay at Luvi. The hotel has lots of different terraces and outdoor spaces, so you could nearly always find somewhere quiet and private to enjoy the incredible views over Göreme. It was an amazing place to watch the balloons at sunrise — some came so close and passed almost directly overhead that it felt like you could reach out and touch them!
Our room wasn’t actually carved into a cave, but was beautifully designed in the traditional cave style and still felt very authentic, while being bright and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable too.
The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone spoke excellent English and they genuinely seemed to enjoy talking to their guests. We got to know one of the younger members of the family who run the hotel and you could really tell how much he cared about the business and about guests having a great stay.
Breakfast was delicious, with lots of local and traditional food, and you could take it up to one of the terraces to eat overlooking the Göreme landscape. They also organised our hot-air balloon flight and a private dining experience, both of which were excellent and completely hassle-free.
Honestly, nothing. There wasn’t a pool during our stay, but given the choice I wouldn’t sacrifice Luvi’s location, terraces and incredible views for one. We were very happy with our choice.

Luvi Cave Hotel was one of our favourites for our whole trip.
For starters the suite was huge, just like the photos and very cool being in a cave room.
All of the staff were very helpful and welcoming.
The included breakfast was great and the location was wonderful for us.
The cave room also made the stay very quiet for us which we loved.

Beautiful rooms. Ours was one of the cave rooms rather than stone which was exactly what we wanted.
Perfect location, a few minutes walk into the centre of Göreme.
Super friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for you. They were super responsive on WhatsApp and answered any questions that I had prior to arrival. They also arranged our transfers for us to and from the airport. They can also help you arrange tours and balloon rides if necessary.
And of course the terrace. The most amazing view of the hot air balloons first thing in the morning as the sun is rising. We got up early every morning just to enjoy the view. Overall our stay was perfect and we will 100% return.

Beautiful boutique cave hotel with amazing views over Goreme including terraces to view the balloons. Quality accommodation. Our king room with bath and terrace was spacious and well designed. Lovely breakfast choice and delicious food. 5 minutes to Goreme centre. Highly recommend.
Note there are stairs to get up to rooms.
