Lots of great cultural decoration that made us feel truly in Bali, very peaceful green and staff brings breakfast straight to your villa in the morning. Yummylicious orange juice and I make a lot of original melodies on the instruments inside the villa. Also had anything you could possibly need in the villa — first aid, sanitary cotton buds etc. ALSO SMART TV

What a beautiful little oasis in the middle of the humdrum of city life. This is a tucked away resort with only a handful of villas situated just enough away from the main area of Sanur. So we didn't want to be amongst the bars and restaurants so be prepared to have to take a taxi ride (very reasonable) to go to a restaurant but with Grab, there's no issue there. We had the most lovely villa with a really nice area outside looking over the pool where we had breakfast and could relax. Inside, we had our own kitchenette area as part of the living room and then a separate bedroom and the most amazing bathroom that ran the length of one side of the villa .. oh to have this at home!! ... The pool was perfect, situated in the middle of the villas and the water temperature was just wonderful. While we were only there 3 nights, we used the pool 5 times, it was that relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We needed to check out late and that was not an issue, they even offered us a place to relax afterwards while we waited and a place to freshen up if needed in one of the other villas. This is not for those who want the whole tourist vibe and beach, this is for those who want to get away and relax but still within a few mins of all the madness. So well worth the stay!!! A few bars around 15 mins walk which was good.
Unfortunately because there is no restaurant onsite, the breakfast just didn't hit the mark and after the first day, we stopped ordering much, would like to see more options. Only real disappointing thing given how nice the place was and the staff were.

Loved the fact that there were only 7 villas in the complex and the lush tropical gardens provided privacy and beautiful ambience. The rustic early-era design of the villas was brilliant and ours was spaceous and very comfortable. The staff were warm , welcoming and polite but were happy to connect in conversation if we encouraged this. We particularly liked the location as we were able to walk to the many warungs and supermarkets or take a 5 minute ride by motor bike or car to the beach area for greater variety if/when we decided to do so. We would most certainly revisit and enthusiastically recommend Villa Kampung Kecil Boutique Hotel , we will miss the happy smiling faces of Priscilla and Cilla.
There was nothing about the accommodation , location or choice of places to eat that we didn't like but the only drawback was trying to walk back from Sanur beach area to our accommodation , workers were renovating/constructing new footpaths on long sections of busy streets which made walking through this area very hazardous , but , solved the problem very easily by using local car or motor bike transport - cheap , efficient , safe and helped spread the wealth !

Beautiful garden and pool area. Squirrels and birds in the lovely big fig trees.
Gorgeous furniture and decor. Spacious well appointed villas. Friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable and peaceful.
A bit of a walk to the beach and you do have to cross a very busy road, but definitely worth it to be in a quieter area. Plenty of great local Warungs to discover on the way.
Only one bedside table by our bed so loved a chair to make a second.
