The staff is amazing and very polite - Clean hotel and rooms - comfortable beds and pillows - good a/c - good elevator - noce garden - good breakfast- good water pressure

Car parking is difficult to find a spot and the breakfast buffet must be improved in quality, especially the bread and all pastries.

Perfect stay in Alexandria,
Value for the money
Friendly staffs, Good service, Food was delicious,
I stayed for 7 nights- every day it was like a check in brand new room. The cleaning staffs made my room so good, clean and tidy.
This is my first time i use a Gym while travelling and was so satisfied - feel like hitting a proper Gym to meet your routine workout.
I strongly recommend and will prefers to stay if am coming again to Alex.
Break fast could have been with much more better options.
But whatever they have provided was good in overall.

I stayed at the Africana Hotel and Spa just outside of Alexandria for a few nights while attending an event nearby. The hotel itself is very large, with multiple pools, a restaurant, and a buffet breakfast. My room was very spacious, which I appreciated, and overall, the facilities were well maintained.
However, I found that the staff weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. I’m not sure if it was due to cultural reasons, my being a solo female traveler, or simply the hotel’s service style, but it didn’t feel very warm or personable.
The biggest issue for me was that all the rooms allow smoking, and as a non-smoker, that made my stay quite uncomfortable. My room reeked of cigarette and cigar smoke — it lingered on the bedding, pillows, curtains, and even the walls. The smell was overwhelming and made it hard to relax or sleep comfortably.
On a positive note, the dinner at the hotel restaurant was really good and reasonably priced, while the breakfast was just okay.
Overall, the hotel served its purpose for the event I needed to attend, but I wouldn’t recommend it for solo female travelers or non-smokers. With a bit more warmth from the staff and designated non-smoking rooms, it could be a much better experience.
