Super location. Good breakfast. Excellent entrecôte and house red. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Room decor in need of attention. Towels were very hard. Seems harsh in light of the price but it wouldn’t take much to address.

The view overlooking the Cite walls from the outside terrasse / bar is fantastic.
Many locals also use the outside bar in the evenings and so there is a good atmosphere. The restaurant food was also very good.
Our room was more or less in the cellar, with no nice view. But the bed was comfortable and the shower was good which is all we needed (who stays in a hotel room when visiting Carcassonne?).

the location was great people were friendly and helpful
no air conditioning. it was turned off for the season we were told and it was 80 degrees. our room was above the bar and people partied there until after 1 am. as stated it was hot so we needed to keep the windows open. not much sleep.
