Location good, near Soldiers Club and across the road from the water.

I stayed in room 7, downstairs neareast to the entrance gate with a car park outside the door of the room. The location was good, near to the centre of town and opposite the waterfront . The decor was a bit dated but the room was very clean. The electric blanket worked fine once plugged in. Shower took a while to heat up but was good. The host was very friendly and helpful regarding activities and places to eat.
The lighting was a bit dim in the room. Regarding the entry to the property, where you would turn in, the council has placed a very low barrier in the centre of the road that is barely visible at night - and it would be helpful to mention on the property listing. If arriving from the center of town, drive past the property to the nearby roundabout then return.
