I had a landmark view room and it didn´t disappoint. A lovely view of the square with a small portion of the lake. It was a great way to start my holiday. Fantastic location, you can walk literally everywhere and feels very safe late at night. The breakfast buffet is really good, plenty on offer and the views from the breakfast room are spectacular. The staff are pleasant and the room, although a little dated is clean and well maintained. I would stay here again for views like that.
The sound proofing on the window wasn´t good so all the noises of the square come through. During the day no worries, it is part of the vibe but with the glass collection trucks in the early hours or the town clock starting at 7am, its a bit difficult to have a lie in.

The staff were always very helpful and multilingual.
The location is perfect being located on the main square and on the shores of the lake. There are lots of places to eat in the evening and the ferry station is nearby making day trips very easy.
The hotel has the use of a multistorey car park nearby which is invaluable with the limited parking availability in the area. You are able to drop off and collect bags at the hotel.
Breakfast was always good and plentiful with lovely views across the lake as the sun comes up.
Our room was very clean and quiet.
Highly recommend
It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room but it was no big problem.

The only good thing was the amazing location with beautiful view from the room and the breakfast. The room was very clean, comfortable enough, and quiet. Breakfast was good. The air conditioning works well.
For 270 euros per night, the hotel is very disappointing. It is old, and not in a charming way. The lobby is ugly, the hallways are ugly, the room is ugly. The bathroom amenities are low quality. The wifi does not reach the room. This is an average hotel that you are paying a huge premium for because of the view.

The hotel is in a beautiful location - on the lake and close to restaurants and the main foreshore area. We had a lovely view from our room and a balcony due to an unexpected upgrade. They provided free bicycles which was fun.
The hotel does not feel like a 4 star hotel - the room was cold because the heater kept malfunctioning even after we addressed the issue with reception. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. There were no toiletries provided other than gel for hands and shower - there was an empty dish on the bathroom counter with a sign suggesting that we contact Reception for toiletries but when we did this, we were told there was nothing else - they didn't even provide a shower cap, personal hand/body lotion or toothbrush kits like other 4 star hotels have done. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them when asking questions. The breakfast was bland and uninviting - bread and rolls did not feel fresh. We would not particularly recommend this hotel - even though they told us they had upgraded our room, we were underwhelmed by the lack of hotel niceties that most other hotels provide freely especially at a 4 star rating!
