Great experience overall. Excellent location, plenty of food and coffee choices near by, especially Bosphorus, rooms very spacious and clean. Towels and sheets were spotless and rooms serviced/beds turned twice a day. Plenty of water bottles provided and restocked twice a day. Breakfast was very good but sometimes the pastry didn't taste fresh. It's probably more of a hotel catered for couples and business travelers. We reckon we were the only one with children during our stay but they loved the room and breakfast. Service was excellent with everyone very polite and helpful.
Pool really catered for adults and exercise (laps) than relaxation. We did use it for that purpose but it's not a place to chill. The hotel was going through exterior window cleaning and it took them a few days till they started setting up parameter in order not to get people walking outside getting sprayed.
Only hiccup was the during check in where I was asked to pay for the children's breakfast when i actually booked stay and breakfast via booking.com for four of us. I had to show my booking email and print-out. They resolved the issue after that.

Beautiful property, great staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Fancy toilet. Great breakfast. Shops and restaurants walking distance.

We love the room set-up for our 35th anniversary with a "I love You" balloon on the seat, many red round balloons and a cleverly decorated heart shape centre piece on the bed with rose petals. The fruits in the fruit basket were carefully selected which was perfect for diabetes. There was a handwritten and decorated card too. Many thanks to Noel from Welcome Experience Team. We truly felt welcomed. Met Catherine, Carmen and Theresa at front desk. They were warm, friendly and helpful. Decided to go to SAMTOM on 19th floor for our dinner since there was no reservation for us to enjoy the Hainan Flavours as confirmed by their staff Zora. Lui Lui Mei from SAMTOM gave us full attention and the food was excellent and creative in presentation. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Next morning, we went to Kitchen Table on level 2, only the Chef greeted us "Good morning" with a smile. At departure, Bell Min helped us to book a Grab, loaded our luggage for us and advise us about the fare and travel duration to airport.
There was no one to assist us with our 3 luggage, 1 handheld and 1 backpack. I was walking with a walking stick. One male staff in black uniform walked passed us without extending a helping hand. We struggled to the front desk which has 4 counters. We stood in the centre (not knowing where to go) till Catherine called us to register. She was pleasant. As no one showed us to the room, we struggled with all the switches in the room for some time. At 8.30am, we went for our breakfast which was a disappointment. There were about 10 service staff but none greeted us nor offer a smile. They were busy and efficient in clearing the tables. Surprisingly only the Chef greeted us with a smile. Some years ago, I had stayed at the W in New York and it was really a WOW experience but sadly, I cant find it here.
