We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Somerscales! The property is truly unique, beautifully decorated, and full of character. I had no idea before arriving that it used to be the home of a famous painter, which made it even more special.
The rooms are spacious yet feel incredibly cozy, the beds are super comfortable, and the views from both the rooms and the terrace are beautiful.
But what really made our stay memorable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us wonderful recommendations on things to do in Valparaíso and even helped us find a place to buy lapis lazuli, which we had been looking for.
More than anything, they made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel. Such a lovely experience, and a place we’d happily return to!
Wish we had stayed longer

Gorgeous boutique accommodation. We loved our top floor room. Beds extremely comfortable. Outdoor shared balcony had great views of the area. Loved sitting there and watching the lights come on. Breakfast delicious. Helpful staff.
Nothing not to like.
