Convenience to where we needed to be. Rapid solution to a problem encountered in the room. Friendly person at reception Breakfast was okay but not exceptional. We have had better at other B&B hotels
On inspecting one of the beds in the room had not been changed after previous use. Sheet was not only wrinkled but also substantial amount of hair on sheet.
Housekeeping needs a major overhaul.

Location we have stayed here many many times
The property has has a major refurbishment which is great but quality of installation and snagging poor. In our room the cover from the AirCon had come away leaving a gaping hole in the wall! The cover was propped up on the table. The toilet seat had not been securely fitted, the flush control was very poorly fitted; there was no TV remote control and the hair dryer had been stuffed into its original box and left “lying around”. The presentation of our room was not acceptable.
Although the automated check in worked well the restricted hours for an in person check and the fact that the bar and restaurant were not open in the evening gave the clear impression that staff costs were being saved as a priority and that the hotel was undermanned thus making guests vulnerable
