I hate visiting a country an meeting the hosts that could welcome me, explaining me how all works here and give me advices on anything I could need. I prefer searching for the information written here and there on how to self host myself and what goes where (trash, keys for check out...). So here it was perfect, I could avoid human interaction with the hosts.
I was sorry to have to call the written phone number to learn my room number which distracted the person from her real job.

The breakfasts were fantastic! The bathrooms/showers were plentiful and of high quality. And the kitchen was also excellent. The room itself was perfectly comfortable.
Unlike most Icelandic guesthouses, this one did not have a private sink in the bedroom. And check-in was a bit awkward, as it required a phone call but the phone at the entryway’s table was not working properly.
