Avoid, photos are not accurate!

First of all, the boat and rooms does not look like on the pictures you see as the main booking photo. Instead you get a very worn out, old boat with horrendous round "bed" of max 170m, impossible to sleep for 2 people. Room was also very smelly, old and tiny. At night was not possible to sleep due to the location where the boat was parked as it was next to the local fishing spot and we had really load Asian techno the whole night. As soon as you have a problem crew pretends they don't speak English at all and they are not helpful. It's a typical tourist trap for much too high cost, just spend a bit more and get yourself another pleasant experience. This was was a nightmare

Lo rifarei subito!!

È una delle crociere più economiche che abbiamo trovato ma è andata oltre le nostre aspettative! La barca è confortevole, il cibo buonissimo e abbondante, lo staff simpatico e gentile. Il ritmo è serrato viste le diverse attività previste, ma c'è comunque tempo per rilassarsi sull'ottima terrazza. La spiaggia che abbiamo raggiunto in kayak era solo per noi, bellissimo. Il trasporto da Hanoi era incluso nel prezzo e perfettamente organizzato.

La barca è un po' vecchiotta (ma per una notte, va bene così). L'esperienza che ci è piaciuta di meno è stata la visita alla grotta il primo giorno, perché c'era davvero troppa gente.

Dissapointed

The food and staff were good, Ha Long Bay itself is amazing. Squid fishing at night was cool.

- Bed extremely uncomfortable - Was taken kayaking in a rubbish filled area (attached photo) - Alot of time sitting anchored up (not much cruising) and when cruising only seemed to go around the same 20 islands - Final day we were kicked out of our rooms at 8am sp they could clean for a photo shoot, that we were unaware of being involved in.

this cruise was fine- everything you need is there and the group is small.

there’s 7 rooms so max. 14 passengers so it was easy to connect

the activities were kinda basic and i had a transfer to ninh binh booked via the cruise but the bus stopped in a nearby village, not in ninh binh so i had to pay again to go to ninh binh. they also don’t take all credit cards

A great 3 days of so much beauty and fun

For a budget price you got a superb service far exceeding the expectations based on the price in comparison to the larger more modern boats. The Boats are older, but have great character, and the rooms have all the facilities you need, toilet sink, shower. The smaller capacity allows the whole group of guests the ability to get to know each other freely. The staff go out their way to make you welcome and attend to you. There is definately a fun vibe to the boats with encouragement each night to drink cockatails (which are increadably cheap) sing karaoke and dance. You visit all the sights that each of the more expenisive tours also visit. I would recomend doing the 3 day 2 night stay. The 2nd day you visit Cat Ba Island go kayaking through caves into blue green clear lagoons, and may be lucky and see the monkeys before swimming on the beach or diving in off the boat.

For some no WIFI is a godsend, but for others we require it for business needs

great value for money. beautiful scenery. the food was great and lots of it and they catered great for us both being vegetarian

Great Time on Halong Fantasea Cruise

Beautiful location with a friendly staff. Our tour guide Huu was very professional and knowledgeable of Halong Bay and it's many islands. I enjoyed the 3 day 2 night cruise which allowed me to wake up to the amazing views of Halong Bay. After the day excursions of kayaking and hiking the caves and islands we returned to the boat with a picturesque sunset and enjoyed drinks on the top deck of the boat. I'm very satisfied with the experience.

Only real disappointment was that they ran out of diet coke but I managed to survive. Not much to complain about with this price point.

Rooftop was nice area, restaurant comfortable, good schedule for 3D2N, food amazing!

Miss some variety of western cuisine, lack of cleanliness during overnight, crew don't speak English so became difficult to communicate. Bus trip to Halong is very tiring.

The food was plentiful, healthy and tasty. The itinerary, which was done using their mix and match sleep on one boat, tour on other boats approach. The guide on the day boat for Cat Ba was gorgeous, Vi made the trip for our son.

The advertising material promised lots of things to do in the evening, such as squid fishing, a movie, games etc. None were on offer and when my teenage kids were fishing the second night (with the go ahead of the tour guide, who is an English speaker) a crew member became angry at them and snatched away the equipment and swore at them in Vietnamese. No idea why. The drinks are expensive. They promised WiFi in the ads (not that we were wanting it) but there wasn't any at all. Bit inconvenient for checking onward bookings etc.

Worth it!

360 view of Halong Bay. The scenery was breathtaking. Such a wonderful experience. I liked the kayaking, cave exploring, quick swim at the beach and the hike up the mountain.

They only turn on the air conditioning after the kayaking excursion, which was around 2-3pm. It was very hot and humid and AC after checking in to the room would've been awesome. The all-male staff needs to be more personable, they need to smile a little bit more. They looked angry all the time, cheer up, you have a great view outside.
