Safe option for a good stay in Brussels

Very well located, close to Brussels Mid station. Good room size, comfortable bed and pillows, revitalized building. There is water available to refill bottles at the lobby.

The neighborhood is not interesting and it’s under construction.

Eine interessante Stadt mit vielen gegensätzlichen Facetten.

Relativ ruhig, trotz Großbaustelle vor dem Hotel. Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit und höflich. Lage relativ verkehrsgünstig. Bahnhof in der Nähe, Innenstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Leider zur Zeit chaotische Verhältnisse vor dem Hotel, da Großbaustelle in Brüssel.

the room was spacious and clean, i liked all the small details. the bed was also very comfortable. the receptionist who checked us in was super lovely. overall a superb stay!

Amazing hotel for families

tiny but nice gym, breakfast was incredible and even though there is a spa we didn't have time to try it but definitely will try next time. Beds were super comfy and the room was amazingly big. The toilet is in a separate bathroom (inside the room) which is great for families haha.

The zone is front of the hotel is full of work constructions, this is nothing against the hotel but it is good to know that the views from the street are not good.

В отеле царит полный бардак. Персонал ведет себя крайне не порядочно !!! Во время нашего отсутствия в номере , пропал пакет с новыми вещами с бирками. Мы обратились на рецепшн, нам сказали что женщину убиравшую номер беспокоить не будут, разберутся на следующий день. Мы объяснили что съезжаем утром , в 3 ночи и не можем столько ждать. Администратора персонал тоже отказался оповещать. На просьбу вызвать полицию, сказали, что уже звонили и полиция отказалась приезжать и что если нам очень нужно , можем сами ее вызвать. В итоге согласились просмотреть камеры и увидели , что женщина, убиравшая номер просто выкинула пакет с вещами в мусор , не посмотрев в пакет. В итоге на рецепции нам сказали что не они не отвечают за то, что происходит в номере и это исключительно наши проблемы и если у нас есть жалобы можем писать руководству на почтовый ящик. Вот такой вот 4-х звездочный отель. Wi Fi в номере практически не доступен. СПА в отеле - одно название: джакузи не работало, хамам холодный , душ оторван, протекает вода с труб. В двери сауны огромные зазоры, плесень, грязь. Исходя из всего этого могу предположить только то, что руководство отеля вообще им не занимается , на всех уровнях полная некомпетентность и разгильдяйство персонала!!! Худший отель в котором я когда то останавливался.

1. Too expensive compared to what it was offering 2. Not in a good and safe area plus construction work was undergoing just outside the hotel which the hotel did not inform us at the time of making a booking 3. Rooms very basic

Hotel tout confort et tres beau et super bon petit dejeuner

les réceptionnistes très gentil des chocolat cote d'or nous attendait à l'accueil le petit déjeuner excellent, il y avait une vrai machine à café à grain, et une vrai machine à jus d'orange que pour cela je reviendrais de vrais croissant qui sentait trop bon le beurre, du miel de toute sorte, des œufs brouillés, des fruits, des fruits sec abricot et figues séchés, salade de fruit, Très bel hôtel Grande chambre Baignoire ou douche Il y avait du café et thé avec bouilloire + 1 bouteille d’eau dans nos chambre Très bel hôtel Il y avait des chaîne TV française Lit très confortable Moquette dans la.chambre Dans salle.de bain il y avait rasoir, un kit pour coudre, très bon gel douche marque "Nuxe" Les.miroirs salles de bain ou il y avait l'heure dessus et fait antibuée Ils nous ont donné 2 cartes pour ouvrir la chambre l hotel est au centre ville

petit déjeuner trop cher travaux en face de l'hotel, faire tout des détours pour venir a l'hotel on s'est fait cambriolé le coffre de la voiture, ils nous ont volé tout ce qu'on avait acheter salle de bain, le sol était froid surtout la nuit lorsqu'on va au toilette de plus, nous avions cassé un verre dans la salle de bain et nous n'avions même pas de chausson travaux juste en face de l’hôtel car ils vont faire le métro et sa va durer 5ans Grande Serviette de bain trop petite

Kleiner Wellness Bereich, man hört Nix vom Straßenlärm, große Zimmer, Frühstück nichts Besonderes aber ausreichend

Quartier populaire, mais bien sécurisé. Travaux juste en face. Vu désagréable depuis la chambre. Pas de machine à café. Le prix est élevé par rapport à la qualité de l'hôtel.

Excellent and fantastic

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and cared about the needs of the people. They responded very well to all the queries and sightseeing advice. We would certainly recommend this place to all our friends in future and we will also come back again.

My son enjoyed the Jacuzzi. The only suggestion is to have a booking system in place where people can just make 1 hour booking for the Jacuzzi during the day and enjoy the experience with their families during that hour. It will be convenient and more private for everyone.

the hotel is fine, but the location not safe and basically a construction site

the breakfast was a nice surprise, with great variety of food

The location is quite unfortunate. There is the construction site of the new metro line right in front of the hotel and that part if Brussels is apparently not the safest.

We enjoyed our stay

Very friendly and helpful staff who were happy to help in anyway and the hotel is not far from the train station

The only downside was the roadworks immediately outside of the property which will go on for some time.

Very comfortable stay near the station with very friendly and helpful staff

The reception staff were very helpful when we had to book last minute and put an extra bed in the room since they only had one room rather than two. A good sized, clean room that was quiet and comfy. Nothing fancy but perfectly adequate for a close stay near the station.

Everything within the hotel was wonderful. The only thing to note is that the whole area around the hotel is currently being dug up for street building work, but we didn't hear any noise from those works.

The bed is super comfy, spacious room and complete amenities, and the staff are so helpful

There is infrastructure building in front of the hotel. The room is not 100% soundproof, still can hear noisy chatting from next room

The hotel itself is really nice, clean, modern, close enough for a walk to the center and only a couple of minutes from the train station.

The area is a bit rough and the reconstruction of the street in front of the hotel makes it difficult to get to. But good enough for a one night stay.

Passable

This is a functional hotel but it’s pretty miserable- the area is destitute. On the plus side the Staffa re absolutely charming but it’s overpriced for very standard accommodation with nothing special in a downtrodden area that is heavily under construction. I would not stay here again unless there was nothing else available.

Good hotel, quite close to station and only a 20 minute walk into the city.

All was just as expected of a Mercure hotel. Breakfast was good, room had air conditioning. We asked to change room due to smell of stale cigarette smoke and this was arranged immediately.

There is major building work going on right outside the hotel over a large area. Not the hotel's fault, of course.

The Staff. Over and above attention to guest. Unfortunately I did not catch the name of the young man on evening duty when we were there, but he was so obliging under a personal difficult moment. Rating 10 to him especially, but others were also to be commended. Superb service and array of foods for breakfast.

Access quite difficult due to ongoing roadworks but not the fault of the property. I’m sure these will be finished at some stage!

The room was spacious and on the quieter side of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food for breakfast. Great location for walking to the Brussels Midi station.

The bath and fittings need replacing with a walk in shower and thermostatic mixer. The black mould present on silicone sealant and staining around the bath/shower screen is not acceptable at this class of hotel.
