The owners and staff of the property were very welcoming, helpful, and just made the stay that much better! 
I would highly recommend this property… The only thing I would recommend is that the beautiful new rooms need just a few items like hooks for a towel in the gorgeous shower room, or a box of Kleenex… Simple little things that travelers need. The rooms are beautifully decorated, but just need a few simple, organizational touches.

Kleines Hotel mit einer persönlichen Note moderne Zimmer mit himmlisch gemütlichen Betten…. Eine sehr sehr guter Küche und der abendliche Drink an der Hotelbar macht den Tag perfekt :))) Das Hotel ist ein Familienbetrieb mit freundlicher, herzlicher Atmosphäre jeder wird von Senior begrüßt u verabschiedet :))) beide Inhaber sprechen hervorragend Deutsch u geben gute Tipps für Ausflüge u Restaurants.
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer super sauber, wir hatten einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Die Lage in der 2. Reihe ist schön ruhig u der Stand fussläufig in knapp 3 Minuten zu erreichen.
Man kann u sollte aber ein Auto mieten um die Umgebung u die wirklich schönen Strände Kretas zu besuchen…( im Hotel möglich) auch nach Heraklion fährt man bequem im Auto das Parkhaus am Hafen ist sehr zentral gelegen….

It was our first trip to Crete and we wanted to find a representative place. Luck or inspiration was to choose Ikaros Suite, a small hotel managed by a very nice family. A modern, spacious hotel with new furniture, with all the facilities you need in a summer vacation: swimming pool, bar, restaurant with local specialties, relaxing atmosphere, good wi-fi free parking and a friendly staff ready to fulfill your wishes , speaking German and English. The restaurant is excellent, with local, authentic dishes - with natural ingredients from the family farm. The beach is a 2-minute walk away.
We arrived very early in the morning, around 8 - but we were accommodated quite quickly, we didn't have to wait until after dinner. More than that - Katarina, the iron hand of the hotel :) - offered us a free breakfast from the house. When leaving, because we had a very early morning flight, we each received a package of food so that we wouldn't go hungry on the road. Thank you, Katarina. Thanks also to Yoorgos, he has a special reserve of excellent Cretan raki. My father-in-law was very happy for him. A place where you want to come back as soon as possible.
The surrounding area is not very attractive, but that is the case in many places on the island. Luckily the beach is very close. Anyway, if you want to explore the island, you will need a car or a scooter.

Amazing clean renovated rooms. The Hera Suite has a wonderful sea view and is very well designed and comfortable.
The owners/staff provide 100% genuine care and hospitality, they make you feel like family.
The food and service at the restaurant/pool are outstanding. Only a few steps away from the beach.
No elevator to the upper floors.

What an amazing experience we had on Ikaros suites . Such a cozy place with great decoration , beautiful and comfy rooms. Beautiful family business all of them took such a good care of us .

IKAROS suites is a superb hotel, lovley and quiet location, just near the beach and easy to get to by bus. The welcome we received was so nice even when we were so late at night and the staff were so kind and helpful. The food was amazing and the portions very generous. Loved it all.

We had a wonderful stay at this family run hotel, the pool and views are perfect, beach 2 mins walk away and 15 drive into Heraklion and the airport. Amazing food from local farm it was some of the best meals we had during the holiday!

Staff and owners were amazing. Nothing was big ask and they looked after us. My wife got ill before we got there but they made sure she was as comfortable as possible. Food is amazing and room are spacious with great modern design.

The restaurant is fantastic. People who work there are great, friendly, and caring. Bed in room is comfortable. Balcony in Dias room is great.
Toilet in the room behind a matte glass door with a window to the room. Sensor light in the toilet can not be switched off, so when you go to the toilet at night, you will lit the bedroom as well

The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was absolutely incredible. It was way closer to the beach than I expected. Overall a wonderful experience!

Very beautiful and close to shops and ATM. I had a comfortable sleep. The staff and so amazing and generous! they helped me when there were issues with my cab. It was my birthday and they made me a full spread for breakfast even after it was served because I slept in. I will stay here again when I visit Greece! they rooms are also nice and have nice things to do.

The whole hotel is beautiful, the food fantastic, the staff so friendly and feels family run but high end at the same time, really a great stay and we'll be back I'd imagine

The staff were really nice, professional and kind. the rooms were clean and it was a nice spot next to the beach and close enough to the city (but not too close if you want some quiet).
the restaurant at the hotel is amazing and we Ate there almost every day and loved every dish. the prices are good anti it’s totally worth your money!
on our last night it was a little windy and chill so there was no hot water. they told us they fixed the problem and that we should wait for it to get worm but it never did and we showered in cold water.
when my boyfriend went to tell the owner about this problem he ignored him and it seems like he don’t want to hear bad critic about his hotel.

Beautiful location and room, quiet, calm, very close to the beach, excellent staff, Ketti in particular gave us great information, and Yorgos and all the staff were warm plus a wonderful restaurant! We already want to came back.

The owner welcomed us immediately and was very friendly! He greeted everybody in the morning and also the rest of the staff was excellent! The room was nicely decorated, clean and just like on the pictures. We ate several times at the Restaurant Murelo and everything was exceptional! Awesome Smoothies, nice drinks, delicious seafood and more... Breakfast came on a platter & was really good (charcuterie, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, varied selection of bread/cake/omelette/waffles/crepes). It was very quiet at night & in our room we saw both sunrise & sunset which was absolutely amazing! The pool area is stylish and and the music is great.
- For the breakfast we missed yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, soy/oat milk/yogurt as well as english breakfast options. It would be great if guests could choose from a small menu even if you have to select the evening before or so that would be exceptional.
- A few sunbeds with umbreallas in addition to the bags would be great & pool water as well as bags could be cleaner in the morning

The owners are very nice and friendly and all the waiters nice and Quick. Very good Breakfast, server at the table. We had dinner there with good food and quickly served.

Very close to a beach. The pool was lovely with a great menu. The room was very beautifully decorated, with good AC and was exceptionally clean.
Not a brilliant location if you don’t have a car. No wardrobe im the room, only a hanging rail.

We had a wonderful time at Ikaros suites. We stayed for two nights and the owners made us feel very welcome. They and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a very good size, perfectly clean, with good views of the sea from the balcony. Breakfast was impressive - copious, varied and very good quality. We had dinner in the restaurant on one evening, which was excellent. I would highly recommend!

The hotel has a very modern pool area, where one can relax and sunbathe peacefully. The room was beautifully designed and very clean, all amenities were also provided such as coffee, bathrobes, hairdryer, etc. Parking was not a problem as they had their own private car park. Overall breakfast was good, however the choice is quite limited as it is table service. The restaurant and bar exceeded our expectations as both the food and the cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was also excellent all throughout the hotel.
This hotel isn't centrally located and thus a means of transport is always necessary to get to the centre of Heraklion. Our room was also quite noisy as it was the first one next to the main door, we could hear other guests talking in the entryway and closing and opening the main door.

This stylish beachside hotel has been beautifully renovated to the perfection of a 5 star resort. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, as if you were family, and they go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is special. We spent our days by the pool & bar, and nights we ate at the incredible Mourelo restaurant which serves a variety of Cretan cuisine - there was even a live music performance during dinner on one of the nights.
We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you again to the staff.

The design is modern, well thought through and detailed. The pool area invites to relax and have drinks in a chilled atmosphere.
