The building looks like an old, luxury hotel (traces of the past are noticed here and there), that has been successfully transformed into budget accommodation in a spectacular area of high demand. It provides basic services, but these were well enough for us. The room was clean and tidy, the bath was a bit old-fashion, but again – fine. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was, indeed, basic, but on the other hand – sufficient. The hotel offers also a dinner option – once again, quite basic (with limited choice), but generally tasty, well enough… and very convenient, given the place is a bit isolated. The area around the hotel is really beautiful, but we did not have time to enjoy it. Overall – excellent cost-benefit ratio and highly recommended place, given the much higher (at least in our case) price levels in the wider area.
One remark, not critics (not fault of the hotel) – the GPS does not bring you to the hotel. One needs to follow the road towards Misurina and turn right on a gravel road (the hotel is signposted on this road) slightly after the main junction. The GPS brings you to the junction only.

Location good, staff friendly and helpful. I liked the deck chairs outside to enjoy the evening sun
Overall design of the interior - it lacked any kind of style. The breakfast was OK however due to numbers in the restaurant, items rapidly ran out. It seemed like the "Smart Space" was never used whilst I was there, so could this space be repurposed somehow. Also, the bar seemed very quiet.

The cows were cute and the hotel was near Tre Cime where we hiked the next day
The cows were noisy all night long and the dinner food was the worst we’ve had in Italy so far.
