My expectation was simply to stay in a modest, restored castle, but I discovered that this place offers an authentic, full-fledged castle-stay experience. Marina is an excellent host; if you share your daily plans with her, she provides all the help you might need. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that you’ll even feel like giving her a hug when it’s time to leave. When you wake up in the morning, try playing the *Godfather* theme music while taking in the view of the castle! :)

Everything was wonderful. We really hope to stay here again!
Marina and Lorenzo (I’m sorry if I’ve remembered your names incorrectly!) are the most wonderful hosts. They are so kind and warm, and my children felt comfortable and happy throughout our stay.
The rooms are amazing, and the breakfast was more than wonderful. The entrance room is also full of rare architecture books, which was such a lovely surprise.
During our visit, we noticed an osmanthus tree near the parking area. Its beautiful fragrance was an unforgettable experience and made our stay even more special.
The architecture, the cleanness, the kindness, the food, and the convenience of everything were all exceptional. We loved every part of our stay and sincerely hope to return in the near future!

It was stunning- a beautiful property set amongst amazing foothills.
Lorenzo really looked after us, and the pool was just perfect.
You felt like you were in this private little piece of heaven.
It got a little warm at night, but I’d never expect such a characterful property to have air-con, so it’s hardly a criticism.

Stunning castle building with friendly hosts. Check in and check out was very easy and the hosts were helpful to recommend local places to visit and eat.
The main issue was that the toilet did not work (flush) at all and when we told the host they were not concerned and told us that the water pressure had been bad recently.
